    Hobypartz lobotomy - beware

    Placed my order yesterday from work. My pc was acting weird so I emailed the immediately and asked them if they had received the order. Basically they did not know.
    The automatic email that I got when I got home had a tracking number but it was dead.
    I emailed them again from work and tried many times to reach them by phone and via customer service live chat. Phone message said they were closed.

    This is the conversation. ( funny )

    P: What does that mean ?
    p: What is the email that I got right after placing the order for ?
    p: Why couldn't anybody tell me this yesterday or two emails and 4 phone calls ago ?
    p: Anybody there ?
    J: you wont get a tracking number
    J: till later on tonight
    J: takes 24hr
    J: to process the order
    p: Thanks. I don't think you understand what I am asking you...... You guys don't know that you have an order untill 24hrs after the order is placed ?!!!!
    J but what im trying to explain to you
    J is
    J it has not been process yet
    J: it takes
    J 24hr to do so

    Basically the order does not exist for all practical purposes until 24hrs after you place it. For some reason their system is not able to be acessed until them - go figure.

    They could not tell me if the order needed to be placed again.

    Is it me ? LOL

    I use them and have no complaints.
    I even get tracking numbers emailed to me.
    They must be so automated that humans are out of work.
    All your base are belong to us...........lol

      I ordered once before from them too without a hitch.
      This time my simple inquiry must have challenged the system.

      What I was told is that they were behind due to the holiday and the email goes out automatically from another system/service (Yahoo)
      The automatic email says to email them about your order.

      It should say something like: " Allow 24 hr. before inquiring about your order"

        This gets worse and worse - finally got the order but the receiver that came with the radio is ng.
        Of course now it is a bear trying to reach them. The phone system gangs up on me. etc.
        E mails are no better.

        Aggravation alert !!! Stay away from this place

            It is not funny it is fortunate :)

            They are marginal - you can get occasional order filled by them. I've actually ordered from them before.
            soon as something goes wrong they are simply not equipped to handle it.
            This is the difference between good customer service and none.
