ok so im finding out while setting up my hoffman magnetics edf in a f-15 that its spuddering and smoking due to the low timming ( factory) setting on my mystery 200 amp esc. the motor seems to require an advanced setting wich i found out off another forum. so i found the suppo prog insrtuctions on line and had a thought: ive been trying to hit 70 mph with my maritimo as most of you have known and am just under 3 mph of the goal. but never even thought of increasing the timming on the esc's!! duh!!!!
now, will this actually increase the timming of the motor? in other words will i see faster speeds by setting the timming up? i used to do this with the 100 amp esc;s i used with my first super -v years ago and saw greater speeds !!! give me some knowledge
