The topic of JAE hulls came up. Here is my version of the .12 enlarged. I built this before the .21 was created. So the scaled up plans here are a little different than the jae .21 fe version. this hull is just about 31.5" tip to tip. fits neu 1515, and turnigy 4s 5000mah lipos perfectly. I have the cog balanced right about 1/4 in front of the turn fin center. (as soon as it gets to a temp anywhere ABOVE 15 degrees here, I will finish the paint. It is sealed and ready to go) finished the plug for a fiberglass layed up, bubble lid. to go with this hull and my other riggers. just thought I'd share its progress.

Anyone had any luck with the link to the pdf of the instruction manual on their site? It seems broken... Any other source for the manual?

Is it an easy kit to assemble for builders new to riggers...?

Yurkanip, don't forget to seal the inside of the tub also!

lomdel, use the instructions for the Nitro version, the build is the same.

mine is traced straight off the nitro version w/ no revisions of the booms, you will need the other sheets of the plans for the nitro kit to use this. very easy to build these jae hulls all you need is the width's of the sponsons and the booms. pm me if you need the other pages

OK, I got my nitro version last Thursday. If you built the .12 version, you're going to love the .21/FE! The sponsons are so much easier to build.
I've spent the past couple of late nights plus some more just before coming up for lunch. Get a nice flat area to work, lay down some waxed paper, mix up some epoxy and go to town! It does build quickly but read the manual over 2 or more times if you have to before starting.
I'll help when I can with some questions that can work with either version.
