I hope to make it down there someday. If nothing else, just to watch.

No sir, she's a 1978 18-foot Eliminator Bubbledeck all original gel, she was raced in the late 70's and early 80's as "Runnin Wild #565" An aluminum 427 was removed, and I had a 468 bbc installed with forged 9.5/1 pistons, roller rockers etc.

The boat has been completely gone through completely rewired new gauges a/b impeller, fuel system, rack and pinion steering, you name it!

Rogers are nice hulls as well indeed..

OK, I can tell with the close-up pics.

Wow! Very Nice! You wouldn't know the age by looking at it now.

Good pick on engine slection also... at 9.5 it otta run on pump gas too...

Almost looks like a set of Rodek heads or the valve covers at least.

                      Hey Bill,

It sure was great hanging out with you, Randy and Tony on Friday. I wished I could have been there on Saturday and Sunday as well.

I have a hull that I am building that looks a lot like your Eliminator, maybe not exactly the same but close. It is 36" long making it 1/6 scale. I have been trying to figure out what full scale hull it was patterned off of and I think I know now.

                      Tony,
Thanks for posting the pics and vids, I had a great time. Hopefully next time I will have some boats to run with you guys.

                      Brad

Here's mine, what on earth hull is it??? I know they're from the early 70's..
I want to bolt on a mini V8 motor and make the scaler of my dreams

These things are a SOLID layup and would run JUST like a real flatbottom with the power we have today

I'm running Summit racing/Dart heads with I'm not sure which brand valve covers, but that fabricated aluminum look is the one for me..

I'll be going farther with the motor this winter, but I'm opting for a V-drive
I'll keep the bubbledeck as a family boat (My kids are nuts) and get into either a pixckle, or a flatbottom. I feel a pickle will be safer though (Faster too Lol)
