    Trashing other members

Trashing other members either publicly or in PM's for their opinion or affiliation will not be tolerated. We all have the freedom of our opinion, whether its right or wrong. No need to be hostile on this forum. We are all here to have a good time.

Epower had to be banned because he couldn't and wouldn't comply to this simple request. Its to bad, I hate having to ban anyone.

I agree with ya. Just outta curiousity if someone is banned is their user name deleted? What I mean is can someone now register again under that name?

I'll be presumptuous here and say, Banned still means that log on name is taken. But him/Her is not able to access the network resources, no log on on nil.

Usually when your banned, your IP address is banned, meaning you cant log on or create a new username from the same computer

Rcprince is correct. Banned is like being locked out of your house, you can look around and check things out but cant do much else.

Other banned members in the past have demanded their posts and threads be deleted. Thats not how i do it, for the reason that missing posts cause issues in reading the entire thread, sort of like a book missing pages.

That is a different type of ban. Like Steve said, he's just banned from participating in the forum.

I dont go that far. I'm the mean type of guy that likes to think of them as suffering as they read and can't reply.

Peter, the answer is no, as I asked the same question, as a few idiots were slamming me on a pm basis

I've been trashed in PM's. I just tell them to get over themselves and not contact me again. Maybe I should report them though.

No, The only way for me to know if a person is getting slammed in pm's is if the user emails me, to tell me. In order to read them, i would have to login as them. So the only way I know to access a users pm's is to change their password to something I know and log in as them. Then when they try to login, they will not have the right password.
