Opinions on Hull Material

Does any one have any experience with hulls made of fiberglass reinforced plastic? If so what are the advantages or disadvantages of it? Des it lack strength compared to fiberglass? I it lighter than fiberglass?

afaik fibre reinforced plastic(frp) and fibreglass are one and the same

Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in
