Wow that stinks! I would see if proboat would warranty the hull. since it is fiberglass it is repairable it might take you a little time but it is possible.

That thing was awesome! Too bad about the damage. It sounded very cool! Makes me want to convert a 1/12 hydro to brushless.

I talked to chris fine today and hes going to take care of the speedo:D and he conviced me to get a better hull that can handle the speeds that im getting . He said the hydro and marine hulls can take a beating the drifter s they got 70mph + with blow overs and cartwheels and no damage.:D SO its jolly cat or drifter s ..............................................:D

$500 on a hull to give it a beating?

I dont know if I would be beating a jolly. The drifer s is what like 150 or so. Better choice if you ask me.

A buddy of mine had his drifter s doing 57+ (on radar not GPS) and it was super stable!

                          FWIW..

If you had used expandable foam in the bow of the hull, You probably woud be running it again once you get a new speed control,,,that stuff is great.:D

I have had a few blowovers in the mid 40's as well as one submersable incident with a wave that sent it beneath the surface for a few seconds with my BJ and not a crack to be seen.:)
