Leopard 2845 4420 KV +4700 KV motor problems ?

Hi all using the above mentioned motors in my 14 oz 22'' long mono hull with a Seaking 120 amp esc a 2s 3000 mah 40c lipo in 1p format with x432 prop after a month of using these motors first the 4420kv version the motor burnt out a phase yet there no signs of overheating a month later exactly the same thing happen to the 4700 kv motor a phase burned out. Has anyone had similar experience ? What May cause this issue ? Regards Andris Golts.

I had poor luck with Leopards, but that was years ago. Today many folks like the 40mm motors. Perhaps the small format motors are not as robust. Is the mono a surface or submerged drive?
