    Loose washers inside Neu 1527

    Hey all,

I have a 1527 Neu 1500kv that I'm in the process of getting settled in a TFL Ariane. I've noted that inside the lead end of the motor there appears to be 2 odd looseish washers on the shaft in there. I can put a small jewellers screwdriver in there and move them easily.

    ??? Is that right ???

Motor has done 2 mins work tops with a few very brief preliminary runs.

Edit: It would appear the loose washers are shims. However, I'd say there's still about 1mm of play in the shaft - where I can move it end to end though the motor. Motor is brand new out of the box I should add. Too much play in that shaft??

Surely I can't have stumped everybody?????
