Prop was a sharpened, balanced, polished & otherwise stock (no de-tounge) Octura X462. 72MPH ain't too bad, considering I was running cheap RedDragon LIPOs, a less than optimal prop, and dragging a speed killing straight line rudder in my propwash.
This was my first ever NAMBA FE race. My goal was to break the existing S class 68MPH SAW record. Goal achieved - but too late. The SAW record was raised by Boyd to 82.698MPH. Not positive, but I think Boyd was running twin Neu motors - don't know which ones - and Octura CR X442 props.
I replaced the Leopard 5692 1090KV with a 1340KV, but smoked the old Castle Hydra ICE HV on my first attempt. Never made it through the traps. No spares.
Current plan is to run a twin setup at the Legg Lake SAWs in October. Can twin Leopards beat twin Neu's? Guess we will find out.

I have a 5698 1100kv in a Sprintcat on 8s coming my way, and I'm looking for a fast prop for it...
