Castle HV not working after .....

I took my new BBY rigger out for test run this morning, boat ran awesome. HV200, 1527 1.5y 825rpm, 12s & oct 2050 prop. it didnt take long to cover the pond on my first full throttle pass and was coasting pretty fast toward shore, I accidentally pushed the trigger to brak to try and slow it down(habbit from cars i guess). I had no motor movement after that. pulled up the log and amp at full thr was 82 amps, when i hit the brakes it shows 345 amps. I had reverse diabled. anyone know why it killed the esc?

Have you tried resetting the ESC? Not sure why but I have had my 240 come back afterwards.

Was there any sign of water inside the hull? The sudden slowdown could have tossed a drip at it.

Look up the upgrade that needs to be done to some of these things on castles site. The jarring could've caused this.

        Does it smell smoked??

I found the service advisory http://www.castlecreations.com/suppo...1201-foam.html

Apparently the two boards can become unplugged and therefor shutting it down. Just taking shots here.

This is a brand new esc that has the foam installed already. I also did the newer firmware update when I did the reset.

Have you tried another motor to verify it is indeed the ESC?

Mmm, I am beginning to question the 3 of these that I have on the shelf.
My 240 Ice has been great.
