Why not this one? Seems to be the same with plugs already attached? http://www.progressiverc.com/charger...er-supply.html

Mainly a difference in quality. The Mean Well is an industrial grade power supply. It’s built better and will outlast the other.

Can you run more server power supplies in parrallel? like 24v + 24v, etc.

Have you tried looking into golf cart battery chargers?

I would not try using another charger as a power supply. This is asking for trouble.

Could this possibly be Terry's problem? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grou..._(electricity)

R2 builds cases and in some situations ran into ground loop issues. Kinda fries things sometimes.

                      Holy smokes. A 2015 thread.

I never did come up with a 24 volt power supply. Still using the bulldogs. Old school. Works every time and I don't have to think about it.

Something else to watch for. The iCharger! Nice charger but pay attention. The charger has a regenerative option. You can turn it off but it doesn't care that you turned it off. It does it anyway. When charging/balancing two packs together, if one is higher it will discharge the higher pack. It takes power and feeds it back to the power supply. This might be fine if it was running from a battery. The voltage increases until it fries your power supply. Took 3 supplies to figure this out. I would go to my charger looking to check the status only to find it dead. "Did we lose power?" Super convenient on race day.

The bulldog has protection built in so you only lose that charge cycle. It just resets but the supplies that come from computers.....baked.
