Dreaming of the perfect battery ?

It's now time to let out the secret the SoCal FE guys have been working on for some time, battery-wise. On a recent trip to China, one of our members made contact with a battery manufacturer whose products are well known in other parts of the world. We purchased a bunch of batterys to try out, and they are just what we've been looking for. These are ultra-premium packs, developed by engineers who previously worked for Thunderpower, Hyperion, and Turnigy. In comparison to packs from these well known brands, the new packs easily stand out as equal, if not better, and are priced at a tad more than half of what TP and Hyperion cost. Mark's and my recent SAW records were set with these batteries, and I had a class win at WWVIII with these as well. As another testimonial, Gilbert and Kevin, whose amazingly engineered HPR135 just set the T-Offshore SAW record were so impressed that they just stocked up on these also.

Mark F will be distributing these (his Performance R-C Lipo website is under development), but for now you can p.m. him for pricing and availability. His current inventory includes 4S 65C/130C 5000 mah packs as well as some 6S packs. He will honor a 6 month warrantee against cell degradation and/or puffing under proper use.

For more information or to order, PM MarkF right here on OSE.

Thanks for looking - Thanks , Tony

Good news Tony. Been waiting to hear about these since you last mentioned something about a new battery to come about. Ill gladly keep an eye on for his upcoming site. For now, can you tell us what gauge the battery wires are?

Larry, the wires on my 4S 5000 packs are 10 ga. - same as on my 4S Thunderpowers.

There are other battery companies coming on the scene that are right up there with the expensive packs too. Good news for all of us. The days of the absurd markups are coming to an end hopefully.

Leaderhobby in the past have been big failures with their cheap packs but the newest WinMax battery range that I am currently testing seems to be just as good as the best and the pricing is pretty good!

I will cary 2s,4s and 6s 5000 mah packs. If someone wants 4000s or 3850s I will get them for them. As time goes on i will consider carrying more sizes. Orders only take 2 weeks to get so it won't be that long of a wait.
