    Looking for a lipo battery...

I am looking for a 3S 50C 5000 mah battery, but only found one from venom RC <Not a reputable company from what I have been told>.

Being relatively new to lipos, I need some recommendations on what brands are worth buying with the above specs.

Price is important to me, I don't want to end up spending an arm and a leg on one, if I don't have to.

Good luck finding that. If you cant use a 45c, then youll be sitting for a long time. Check Thunderpower, but I dont think they have a 50c pack. Are you looking for 50c continuous, or burst? Hyperion makes high quality packs, many racers use them. I highly doubt youll see the 5c difference.

Offshore_RC --- I agree with the above posts....can't you just buy the 45C packs? I race and I use 35C packs (Hyperion 5000'S)....who told you that you NEED 50C packs and why?

I suppose I could run 45C packs in a Genesis (Which is what I am planning on saving up for). I don't recall the reason a friend gave me (He runs a 100MPH setup in his, but I will be far from it), as it was all greek to me, since I am new to lipo batteries.

Not sure if the ESC I will be using will see the 5C difference (Castle Creations Hydra 240).

                  an un- modded genesis?
you could run 25-30C packs if you really wanted.

I may. Save myself some money. Only thing I might change is the rudder, other than that I am keeping the motor stock for a while.
