I had a Smoking Joe and a Tide 43" gas hydro running Quickdraw 35cc engines in them back in the early/mid nineties. Way before smartphones and digital cameras, and I haven't been able to find where I last put the old school pics of them. They were "scale enough" and not really what you are asking for, but your post made me think about them and brought a smile to my face. I loved those boats.
I did manage to find a few of my 5' Little Ceasars boat I built back in that same era. I powder coated the Quickdraw motor and polished every piece of ally on it. It had a wet exhaust and scale geared outdrive. It was heavy, and not a race boat, but was fast enough to look really scale on the water. Ive lost the rest of the pics I had once I had the vinyl seats with three scale drivers installed. It was really close to the actual boat seen in one of the images, and was really proud of it since it took me about 2 years to complete
Good luck on your quest!Comment

I have a few pictures, not sure if they are from Google or a friend.
My 1/8 scale electric probably isn?t 100% scale. I do have the paint codes from the Newton plans.
