You can get creative and make a lot of parts (sponsons, nose piece, etc) from foam. Cutting foam with hot wire or sanding to shape, then coating with fiberglass. Spray a light mist coat of 3M spray adhesive to shaped foam. then lay down fiberglass cloth and epoxy. Lots of videos on YouTube.com that show how. There are lots of old RC Airplane tricks.Comment

What? You are finally making a longer more stable version. You will see that it will turn just as good as the shorter version. And be more stable down the straits without blow over. Cool

It is still 33.5" long. I do plan on a smaller (lsh size) and larger (Q size), but not immediately. I understand your comment regarding a longer hull though, similar to a dragster or funny car keeping its front wheels on the ground. I see you have an extended strut. That's a good idea. I took a different approach with this hull. It has tapered air bleeds that keep the pressure underneath to a minimum. I haven't heard of anyone blowing these over, even at speeds in excess of 65mph.Comment

its custom anodized....the turn fin mount is accu tech with a graupner sailboat turnbuckle added to alu mounts in the hull.Comment
