The oiler is secured to the stuffing tube with 2 screws, thats it.

The oiler is purely a bolt on part. Unless buying a rtr high end boat from a stateside dealer, 90% of the time a little finesse will be required. Boats are nothing like cars or helis, which explains how many are independently built. There are guys out there that have been in the hobby for 20 years and would f'up a mystic horribly "attempting," to build one, and there are guys that have been in the hobby 6 months that get one to go 90 mph, all comes down to taking a few extra minutes here and there and trying to figure it out.

Considering the cost of lehners and mgm controllers its clear you're serious about the boat, it would be hard to screw it up if you listen to people on the forum.

@iridebikes247 your right bite the bullet and learn... thank you for the pep talk... and thank you all for the frank advice. Boats are really harder than helis. Much harder. I may have bite off more that i can chew... I may sell all this stuff and build a simple boat from scratch (with everyones kind help) anyone want to buy a boat LOL

Update: the RTR kit requires a low profile servo. What low profile servo is the preferred one?
