Well I guessed at the beginning it would be around 9lbs ready to go. Well I was pretty dang close....

    Here it is empty.

Here it is with two 3s packs.

And here is is with two 4s packs....

It was weighed complete. Flex in it. And canopy on it.

Beautiful.. You should look into getting some of KBBs braiding water cooling hose. It really adds to the look. Just a thought. Did you reshape the rudder to decrease overall thickness?

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with the way it's turned out so far. I have some of that Hose and while it's nice, it wont work for me. The hose goes directly through a fitting in the transom and the soft or rubbery texture is what seals it. The rudder I didn't make thinner, just sharpened and made it a straight edge from the sharp edge to the rear of it. Was worth a solid 1mph with my other boat in back to back testing.

Oh ok. I dident realize that it went through the transom the way that it does. I thought you had installed a fitting on it like you had done on mine.

I changed the way I'm doing it on tight transoms. I get so aggravated with getting the hose on and putting a zip tie on that I've almost thrown a boat against the wall. So to keep my sanity and my stress level down, this is my solution. I'll still use the bulkhead fitting on easy to reach transoms.

Great job Travis. I need you to get yourself up to Canada and crank out a few boats for me! Looking forward to see how It handles for you and how fast you can make it go.

I'm charging batteries for it tomorrow. Today was absolutely beautiful and perfect. No wind. About 70 degrees. I couldn't get out there because we had a family dinner to attend. I was gonna try for 100 with the rivercat. Hopefully tomorrow is as perfect. There is a pond behind my house.... it was like glass with no ripples. I missed out. Got my collet today. I'm making the flex right now and fishing little odds and ends.

I guess it dont matter what it looks like as look as it does the job and it will be covered anyways. Funny still.

I totally cover my capbanks in a plastidip too, no probs..looks good Trav...that temp gauge would be a nice tool for getting setups right, instead of having to check logger constantly... DJ
