I went to the local speedometer shop and got a bunch of broken speedometer cable from their trash bin. They told me to help myself. Interestingly enough, it appears to be exactly the same stuff as Octura cable. Best of all, it was free.
Speedometer cables are usually several feet long, so broken cable is no issue for boat applications. They do have squared ends so keep an eye out.A nation of sheep breeds a government of wolvesComment
