Thanks! I'll have to look into that. It's all finished. Hopefully weather will hold tomorrow and I can get a couple runs in. I had to use a different esc, got water damage on MGM from last race so it was sent back for repair. I've had a Jeti 300 pro sitting in the cabinet for awhile and don't have any other HV esc's right now. So here's where it's all at for now.

great looking build. love that hull. I can't tell from the pics but what size rod are you using on that steering linkage and is it bent? From here it looks like it could be a little heavier duty.

Thanks, the rod is 4/40 and yes it's bent. It's pulling so shouldn't be an issue.

Not yet, been out of town and will be out of town again next week. Hopefully after that I'll get some time to play.

Got a run in today, very happy with the results! Initially it looked to be running wet, but once it got going it loosened up quite a bit. Took a spill coming out of a turn but saw this on GPS and speed may not be totally accurate. Will get more running in hopefully next week.

Another run in today, speeds are holding in the low 70's. It was a little too calm today, with no wind the boat stayed glued to the water and it took a couple laps to get it freed up. Unfortunately on the 2nd run I hit something and tore up a good prop! So I'm going to try a 7014/2 375 PWW prop I have next week.

She looks to be moving well Oscar. Sucks about the prop, do you know what you hit?

Thanks! No, not sure what it was. My guess would be a log because it spun out when I hit and the strut has a chunk out of it too.

Dang dead heads, I tagged something Sunday too. It was small(real small), but at 99.8mph the rudder got a little ding.

Ran the Storm in our first race this year and placed 2nd in open cat. I ran it with the PWW 7016/2 375 and didn't have a lot of prep time with it, boat was really loose and I flipped in the last heat, but managed 1,2,4 and dnf. The 4th finish I was in 1st place and cut a buoy. Next race is April 12th and I'll hopefully get a little more time to get things dialed in. Here's a graph from a test run before the race.
