I keep saying this. It sucks way worse when your boat doesn't get wang'd but you feel responsible for somebodies misfortune.

Lot of things here:
I could have built it better
It's racing
It was old. Built that in early 2010 for LSH
I still could fix it too.
That boat had no business being out there for P sport. With batteries it weighs just over 5 pounds. That's too light.
I could have been driving more responsibly. Because it was slow I had to stay in it to keep pace with you guys. Risk take'n at it's finest. Turns out.........If you put yourself in harms way.......harm will find you.

That gem was hit and wounded 4 times that I can remember. First bludgeoning was by multiple year high points champ Jason Sims. Point being.......crap happens. Even to the guys that are supposed to be at the top of their game. It's racing. One year I saw PAGS receive a T mono through his T cat. Think they're still fused together on a molecular level.

So quit beating yourself up. I ain't mad bro.

It went like this...... Terry was in the lead, and Jimmy and I were close behind. I tried to overtake Terry on the outside... I cut in front of him and blew him over......and Jimmy split him in half. 100% my fault.

I was actually thinking if I could just make you guys go the long way around. I really thought that we were going to survive at first. My boat kind of stood up on it's side presenting a nice target. That was some close racing. Fun. Right up until the collision that is.

If you had cleared me, Jimmy would have gone under both of us I think. That was anybodies race.

Any updates? Have you gotten any more speed out of this hull?

Hi D! Speed is 65mph with the Neu 1515-1Y, but I think there might be a little more in her, even in race trim. She took an undefeated 1st place at the Michigan Cup this year. There was a lot of out of state competition, so I think it can hang with the best of them.

I plan to laser cut (3) more boats before the end of the month.

Yep. Terry had the lead in the last heat. I think he was driving Tom's new fiberglass hull. He had me. It was the last lap, last turn, and then 'Ker-PLUNK'!!! Turtle got him. i earned the other two wins though. Made a turn that I thought only Sean Kewley was capable of.

Hi Darryl. Would love to see how your boat is coming along! As for a 40 size, that's a great idea. You got me thinking.

Your hull is large and only a quarter inch short...I think. All you have to do is add length, install a 6s combo and test to see if it will be faster using 6s and larger prop.

I use two Nue 8300mah 3s packs wired in series, but I wonder if this is enough capacity for a race.
