My built from scratch fast electric

    Hi everyone,
I now have a safe and insane video, if I could drive a little better it would make a great video! but my painting makes up for it. Any way here is the you Tube link.

Looking good. How do you come up with a hull design?

I looked at a lot of other boats and tried to use what I thought looked good and would work well, So I guess what I am saying is it came out of my head and on to paper or electronically (Auto CAD) then transfered to wood, I did not copy anyone Else's.

Impressive, I was looking at your internet blog where you totally design , build and draw up plans for your hulls.

            Reedy,
unfortunately no build photos of this exact boat, but on my blog I have a slide show of the build of my new boat which is closely related to this one. It should be a little more stable)
I am running two turn fins, set low in the back as to dig in deep (it helped stabilize the boat at higher speeds, and the C.G. thing is really important, recently we were given a boat which a gentleman raced and he had marked out increments where the batteries rode in the hull, in order to make fine adjustments to the balance of the boat. which can dramatically changes how the boat turns each boat is a little different as the gear varies from owner to owner and personal preferences of what to use, so that is where the science of it all gets challenging, have fun.

I am going to have a couple more variations of the original hull design sometime in the near future, one will have a little wider rear end with the "V" flattened out at the back as to allow for a jet drive, for something a little different, and not to mention less hardware to buy. (I didn't say that and you didn't read it either. LOL)
