I didn't get and pics it was just ment to be a quick test run with 450 props and on second pas she quit, dead stick, then limped back on one motor. Boat was filled up with water pretty much. The pickups really pump the water!! One did survive, and I was happy about that.

The last I had her out I was running 9s on stock 450 three blades and she ran 92. Amps leveled out at around 120-130. So lots of room for stepping her up. I will work on getting some videos and breaking 100 should be no problem, just want to know how fast I can get her. I was able to run for quite a while and was running over her own wake at speed and I was very impressed, this boat has not shown any tendency to go airborne (yet). :).

This is the one video I have, second run and stingers were too deep, I've since adjusted them. This boat likes big props 47- and up. Stingers are about 2mm up and cg is around 33-36%. I have only run 9s with the 4s and 5s configuration per side. At that time the 4s were in front. 10s will be 2 5s or I can change some more weight around with 6s and 4s. The 6s batteries just fit.

That's still really nice Cooper. I'm working in building a 37" daytona with twin drive. Would like to run 10s-12s if it will fit. Just got the hull the other day drives came in to. I can't wait I'm going to get with Keith and target it out. I can't wait have a few weeks though of building to go through. I was going to run two leopard 4082 2000KV nut won't with four what I want so I'm going to run some big boy motors Neu competition wids. I'll post pics

If u make/ made your intakes and outlets out of brass tubing all u need to do is take next size up and put a 4mm wide ring around existing tube to basically create your own barb. Then just zip tie tight below the installed brass ring and its almost impossible to slide off

Good idea Chris, I'm pretty confident I have eliminated cooling lines slipping off. I got the right side diameter hose and tube, and the clamps took me about half hour to get them all on. They are tight and wide.

Be careful with silicon tubing above 60 mph, it will stretch and blow off or burst. I did it twice on my rigger and switched to Tygon, no more problems. Use Tywraps NOT spring clamps.

what did you use to attach the brass tubing to the esc?

Artic silver thermal epoxy, it's a two part thermal compound used on computer heatsinks. Radio shack sells article silver stuff but usually doesn't carry the epoxy, so if you want some just do a search. I think I got some from frozencpu or something like that.

I was running in 106 degree temps outside and I had flare the tubing, glue the hose and put a zip tie on every connection. The water was around 85 degrees. The hotter the water gets the softer the tubing becomes. I do not know if that is your problem but it was mine.

No my problem was purely lazy, or lack of attention. I just overlooked the hoses on the esc. I wasn't going near top speed and was just thinking that nothing was being stressed. Usually I have a good attention to detail but just plane overlooked this one. So definitely my fault. :). Anyway this weekend was a bust, no boats out, upriver they got six inches of rain in a few places and some over three inches. The river is up about 8 feet and completely brown, not to mention a lot of debris and other unwanted things floating down. Hopefully by this holiday weekend I will be able to set her loose on 10s and start playing with some moded props.
