    Hello Guys,

@ Larryrose11: Mhh it includes a 245g/m² Carbon weave and a 220g/m² carbon cevlar weave but the exact number of layers and their order won't be shared here.

@ Steveo: Mhh something in the range of a NEU 2230 or a LMT 3080, big ESC and around 12S2P or even 12S3P per side.

    regards,
    Manuel

WOW Manuel!!!!! That HPR looks amazing. Would love to hear those turbines spooling up on the water. Good luck with the build.

Okay first thanks for the great reaction to this thread here!

And some updates from the project:

As I'm still waiting for the 3D-CAD model of the hull, but I already wanted to start the design work on the hardware I had to start something on my own. Took me about 1.5 hours for all the measurements and the drawing but finally I have a 3D version of the back of the boat. So I can already start with the design work for the hardware. As there may be some "Props" around here, I have to excuse but as I'm not an expert in Shape Design I did it as a solid - for my purpose still fine.

Next step will be to design all the hardware (drives, rudder & hydraulic) and already test the fit and the optic on the 3D model of the hull. I think that will work very good, the design itself will not be everybodys taste and quite special. But I'd say at least I have to like the result of my work.

            regards,
            Manuel

              Turbines

On Wednesday this week I had already christmas, my turbines arrvied. By the way I did not order them directly from JetCat but via Mr. Andreas Kraft (http://www.turbinenshop.com/), here a BIG thanks to his excellent service!! Absolutely recommendable!!
I ordered a set of the SPM5 Marine Turbines from JetCat with a output of 6kW each as a pair including all accessoires. Including 2x JetNet, 2x cerosene start, 2x I/O-Board and the USB Interface.

I celebrated the unboxing of these almost as some Apple-Fans do it with their new toys. But its really a pleasure to get them out of the parcel. The packaging was fine, only the hard foam could have a more precise fit for the turbines. But so far everything fine and in excellent condition. I'm very satiesfied!!

Sadly this week-end I have no time to power these up but will probably do next week. Only have to steal some cersone from Christian as I don't have suitable fuel at home.

              regards,
              Manuel

And some pictures (its like an expensive Lego puzzle for adults):

Ohhh man, why cant i unwrap some Turbines for Christmas haha, very nice!!
Hey Manuel, has hanspeter ever discussed the characteristics of the 233 vs the Mystic 240 ?
Since he has done turbines in both, it would be interesting to hear the pros and cons of both hulls..

Aslo do you retain both of those controllers for each motor the whole time? Are they just for setup or actual start up?

                Have fun Ryan

Manuel, my test controllers work fine but i like the look of the new ones shown, any difference between the old slab style and the nifty new test controller model shown?

Manuel is busy running his boat in the snow. Heard today that there was 135cm snow in the South of Germany:

                                Hello Guys,

sorry I'm pretty busy at the moment, will continue the review soon here. For all who want to be 100% updated and don't mind german text you can follow the review here:

(text german but you can use google translator or just checked the pictures)

                                @ James:
Mhh you can use the new ones with a single hand to reach all the buttons. But for programming itself nothing different, menu is completely the same. When yours work, hardly any need to change.

                                @ MrUnlimited:
Sadly no snow at all here at the moment

And for all the rest here an update with the video of the first ignition:

                                regards,
                                Manuel
