I have 2 TP-Power 4050 2220 kv motors that will be pushing 1945/2 counter rotating props on 6s. should get me over 100 mph! I also have other props to try but I'm starting here.

Twissted loved all the zonda info. Just one question..In which direction do you have your props rotating. I'm trying to figure that out before I put my zonda in the water this weekend. Which iis best?

I've heard if you disable the LVC you can run them on a higher cell count than 6s.

I will not have to go to 8s with theses motors. The tp4050 2220kv is designed to run on 6s! I got the lipos charged and will give it a go tomorrow in some calm water. I'm hoping that it spooky fast!

Zonda owners have any of you had a problem with the upgraded rudder that come with the Zonda. We have three down here and all of them the rudder does not pick up water. Have anyone else had this issue? What was the solution?

I did something that yo may want to look at. I drilled holes in the hull and got water in that way. It's simple and very low cost.

As you can see I added a 150mm push/pull rudder that is not bolted in but is in place in these pictures. I used epoxy 3 different times to build up the base to make sure the pickup tube if not going to break or move. I used a dremel to shape the hull and the tube that sticks out when the epoxy dried. You will want to run the tube down flush to the bottom so that the back side protects the hull and also flows good.

I also beefed up the rudder plate of the hull with a saddle mount.

I used 2mm on the base using marine epoxy and 4mm on the sides also with marine epoxy to lock int the rudder base.
