    Hmm took the girl out today with the new props. Nice props I must say!! She did just over 114km/h on 6s compared to 98km/h with the 4818/3. A little on the warm side though maybe 55c-60c there is no way I would try 8s, will cook things for sure. Maybe for 2 passes that's it. Will upload vid later. Sound of spinning those props is amazing.

    Here is a picture at the lake untill upload is complete

            The props rock, next I'll get some 457's cut to 52 detunged, s/b and slightly cupped! I think there is so much more in this boat! Can't wait for the 2280's want to be around the 100mph for fast and 75-80 for fun on the lake. It's plenty fast

                    I am gonna purchase next month a new hull by MHZ Mystic c5000 1380mm. I like to know if someone can do a wrap for this hull (G3racing.com Aqua Mania). I also want to power this hull with 2x 6 lipo's and 2x Hobbywing Seaking 180A V3 esc. I thought to use these motors for it: http://www.tppower.c...ss_id=4&news=57 1260KV. Is it underpowered then or is it the right choice?

                        Thanks Chris, yep can speak to me about a wrap.

                        I think you can use the 180A controllers no problem. I would say, as long as you get a motor in the 56xx Class size (Big Leo or TP) "TP5650 Inrunner Brushless Motor 1600kv" more like it for 6s. You will have to run props in the high 50's- mid 60's range ???? (depending on amp draw) I would not power this hull with a 40mm motor. Always start with a small prop and work your way up.

                          I was thinking on using the 1250kv motors and use props with more pitch (pobably modified props) to gain higher speeds than 60's. I want to run at least 65mph or would a better choice with this setup a smaller hull such as the 1140mm hull

                            I think the key here is spinning smaller props fast. 1250kv on 6s wont get you going very fast

                              Ok, new 5mm flex cables and collets shipped today (thanks to Manuel) will be a couple of weeks away. Hopefully by then the new Lehners will be here, and I can do some serious boating.

                                Have to step in here.. you talk of things like you have quantitative experiences.
                                @MrUnlimited 6S 1250Kv 30Krpm 4KW to x455/x460 and you may touch 65mph(110kmh) in the 138 for a sprint.
