Had you removed and cleaned them after last run?Somebody on here said to me that they only reloaded grease via the front by coupler while the motor was spinning.
I tried this for a while on one and the shaft did not look trustworthy after a few weeks.Comment

The thing is.....it snapped right after the motor collett, not inside the shaft. I still like my way of greasing the shafts. The idea of removing after each run is no go for me. The thought of it makes me shake. I think the reason it snapped is because there was very little space between the brass tube a motor collett because of the flex safety. I'll fix that part and see how we go. Anyway had to remove the old flex cable from the drive/prop shaft. Just used a small torch to heat it up and the loctite let go. Now I just want my props. " the ones the accidently sent to you"
Anyway....did your shaft snap? The one you didn't remove?Visit www.customcfparts.com | Custom Boat Building | Custom Carbon Fiber Parts | Custom Graphics | LMT Premium Dealer | MGM Premium Dealer | YouTube | Facebook

Yes,I've lost a couple of props in the lake. That was my MG when I first was getting the little bugger rippin.I also snapped one just before the prop shaft on the Shocker.Thankfully everthing stayed in the stinger.Actually what a pain to get out. That time there must not have been enough space for wind up.
Geez your props need alot of work to make them purfect!!Comment

It's okay.. all's well that mends well, hey !
I do believe your flex break is an algorithm of alignment and gap between collet and shaft saver. ( 8?mm is too small ! )Wayne Schutte PhdCSE BaSE BaEE. Australian, & damn proud of itYOUTUBE

Funny enough, they kinda balance but definetly not sharp. There is still some black sod or what ever left from the casting. Other than that they look polished.
