Ok, so I will update this....

Foamed the front with the 2lb foam, and got it all set up.



I didn't get any video of it running, but trust me, you did not miss much. I was very disapointed with the way it ran. Slow, and just sloppy. Utter disapointment. So while running, to add insult to injury, my brother in law plows his BJ26 sponson tip into my boat. Just happened to get it where the foam ends, and the fiberglass begins....and this happens.


I'm done with this hobby for a while. Gonna sell everything off in the next few weeks and start fresh next season. Man it's frustrating.

Wow...................just packin it in cuz of a bad maiden? I hate to see that...................hope you just step back for a week or so and fix her up. If not store it away for spring.............. Sellin' your stuff may make you wish you hadnt next spring.

I should have never wasted my time with the abs hull. Should have spent the time building my dual blackjack. This hull will be scrapped, all the insides will be pulled out and likely reused. I will keep 1 boat to work on (the dual blackjack) and get rid of everything else. Just too much crap on my plate right now. At the end of the day, it's a toy boat. I am not leaving for good, just putting it on hold to focus on more important stuff.
