Painted the Miss Vegas I picked up off of PropperChopper, it came out pretty bad. I was trying to get MG color but when i failed at removing the paint from a rattle can and my air brush kept clogging so i went a different route. Did a white base then fluorescent green and then yellow over that for some reason and then clear after that. It is interesting to say the lea st. Rushed putting it back together so i ended up with some finger marks. Didn't pass inspection over at the LHS, they want me to redo it, not sure if i feel like all that sanding though.
Where can i read a more about setting this boat up. Stuff like turn fin angles, lifter props, ride attitudes. New the hydro thing and not sure how to set them up. Mine was running ok today with a PB 1500kv and a x645. I feel like i'm running wet but I'm not sure what to do. Also is that too much prop for that motor? have a 120 amp esc. Flipped it today, Got it in relatively quickly so the temps were cool when i opened it up, but there was either smoke or steam that came out, doesn't smell burnt now, haven't tried it since the flip.
