gerardo...............did the boat ever come back up?????
I´m doing 62-63mph with an X452 prop, detongued, and cupped...
When the boat drowned i waited 2 minutes to check if the boat would come up, or not...
After a while a sympathic gentleman asked me if i would like to use is real boat in order to find the boat.....
I searched 10 minutes long and didn´t find anything!
Altough is son, checked some red from the bottom, so i dived in to 13 feet water and found the canopy....
After a while, the son again...told me...check that out,the canopy was 50 feets away from the hull
Dived again and retrieved it..The only damaged thing was the turnigy bec....
here goes a pic...checkout the canopy completely broken..
Try pre warming your lipos and get a smaller gps !!!!

Had a couple of other forum members there btw to "witness" it since no vid................temps on motor 92*, ESC 101* and batts 85*, ambient air temp 68*
This motor continues to amaze.......................heck, it may take an x452
Any idea how many amps you are pulling? How long were the run times with the X450?

Thanks guys. Chummer, i have gone back to an x447 as the x450 thermalled the ESC as water temps rose here..............it was maxxing it out. I was able to get away with it in the 38* water............now into the 50*'s i have settled on the 447 as my summer prop. Ran today in fact, ol Vader is just a treat to run................never a problem, and runs smooth as silk on the last 3 inches of the pad
Threw a GPS in it today just for kicks and got 55.6 in small chop with th 447.......................plenty since im not racing for pinks or trophys, gathers quite a large audience at the lake as well.
Runtime today was 5 minutes easy..............mostly WOT..........loooooong straights and sweet carving turns. Cells were 3.85 when done, so i had another 1 to 1 1/2 minutes left. Not sure about amp draw, im thinking its in the 130-140 range. This hull is the biggest bargain i have found yet in a mid sized mono.
Man,,,that is sweet. A 5 min.+ run time @ 55mph with at 39" mono on 6S with a Turnigy 180. Very nice setup.
I have a HK Vanquish hull on the way, not sure what I will power it with yet. I was thinking about the Leopard 5692 on 8S although I already have a Hydra Ice 240 and I am waiting on a 1717 that is in transit.
Hmmm,,,,,So many options,,,,so little money.lol.
