the good news it i got my radio shack $29 jet ski to do 60mph. it was at 84 degrees and zero amp draw.......

You're saying you gained 12mph and dropped 15amps by having a cooling pump? What was the ambient air temperature? Why didn't it go 59mph on the first pass before it had a chance to heat up if the only difference was cooling?

Just as an aside, you're claiming a 12mph increase in speed on like 200 less watts, which is impossible. You simply can't go faster on less power unless you change something with how the hull is running.

*edit* - just remembered this was a DF 26 not 29, I think he's probably the only person to get a 26 to stay on the water at 60mph??? :D :D

I call BS. As stated earlier your first couple passes would have been that fast if cooling was the only thing done different. You motor doesn't start off at 120f and it takes more than a couple laps to get it anywhere near that temp.

WOW!! what a bunch of negative answers and people on this form. i am going some were else. this is stupid. you all do not believe my data but one guy was stating that 11L motor is 2326kv=15v=34890 Wrong do the math again but the standing voltage on a fully charged 4s pack is not 15v. Some one else said something about 200 watts less, no its called less temp=less res=lower current draw= more efficient motor. i am done. if you all do not believe me try it it works if you do it right.

Nope. I won't let people believe your lies. Tell me... Why, when you first plopped the boat in the water, before you did anything...Everything was at ambient temps. Why did it not reach your claimed 59 mph with a motor and esc that were perfectly cool. I guess magic pond water helped to pick up 10 mph huh? I've ran boats in water that is sub-freezing in temp. Yes, things were cooler. Maybe 10-15 degrees cooler than normal. No way, did I pick up 10 mph. No way did amperage drop. I also enjoy the statement that your loaded rpm is only 1101 rpm less than unloaded rpm, with no voltage drop. First run and 59 mph....with a DF 26? NO. Especially with a FeigaoL.

You have proved nobody wrong. 5 different guys came right out and said you were full of it. I've never seen that on this forum, ever. Your data is B.S. It makes no sense. Again, pics of the completed boat would be nice. Not a painted bare hull.
I'm not pissed, just calling you on obvious lies. Guys have ran Neu 1515 1y's in that hull, and have not been as successful as you with a Feigao 11L. Again, explain what has been asked. First run, cold motor/esc punch it. Now you add pond water to the same cool motor and it magically 12mph faster?

I have owned this hull BTW. I know what it is capable of, and what it takes to get it running well at over 40 mph. Lots of other guys here have had it also. It's funny how the new guy with his first boat comes here and blows everyone out of the water and proves us all wrong. lol
