It was time. The good ole' DF 33 (clone) served me well for years. Briefly held the NAMBA P-Mono & P-Offshore 2-Lap record [until Darin & Tyler came along
]. Raced, crashed, bondo-ed, & even won a P-Mono heat at the 2008 Nat's. But she had developed a habit of stuffing[and disappearing
] in racewater & gasserwater where I play. Steven had a beautiful red one in stock so , with the idea in mind of simply transferring the guts from the DF to the Cyberstorm, I got started. Fifty hours later
{ making rails & getting them epoxied in place with the motor coupler/flexshaft in perfect alignment took the most time.} Here's some pix : [spread over a few posts.] [ bagged the boat to eliminate epoxy fingerprints !]
