is two wires stay connected to the motor it will still stutter and most likely draw power and isn't good for the ESC, you could attach it to all three wires to be switchable.

And to switch from one motor to the other without changing the esc you could use some fets and a full on gate signal to the leg of the motor you wanted to use and you would need to do this to at least two legs of the motor. But then again You would also need a floating gate controller since the source voltage would not be grounded.Comment

LOL. Thanks guys. Hard to believe that it has been over (4)yrs!!! It really became practical once I found that little electronic unit that sensed 'reverse' on the throttle. My neighbors thought I was nuts. I was running it upside down more than right side up!!!!Comment
