Sure. Add the lead to get it to balance with the p-sport setup.

That CG should work well with the spec setup too... mine does.

OK...here's P Sport setup. I had to add 4 1/4 ozs of lead ( four 550 grain 20/1 lead bullets) to get balance 1 1/2" behind back edge of sponson. Without lead added COG was 2 1/4" behing back edge of sponson. I think I may leave COG at 1 1/2" with lead added. Hull now weighs 5lbs 11ozs.

What are you shooting with 550 gr. bullets? A .458 Win Mag, 45-70?

Buffalo. No it's a Browning 1885 BPCR High Wall chambered in 45-70. The gun was designed for BPCR (Black Powder Cartrdge Rifle) competition.

there is a guy in my club that runs a whip with a spec setup,he has the motor were the nitro motor would be located, and the cells about were your esc is located on each side of the drive shaft, it seems to run fine.

I used lots of Scotch Masking tape to hold top sheeting over sponsons while epoxy cured. First I glued top sheeting along side of tub while the sheeting over sponsons was left unglued. The next day I glued sheeting over sponsons.

Notice how well the UL-1 hatch lays flat against Whiplash.

Next I will have to sheet top deck. Then I have to cut plastic hatch in two pieces. Hatch will then be trimmed to fit. Whiplash will have seperate deck compartment over servo.

Thanks Jeepers. This build has taken lots of thought. Not Easy at all. The next Whiplash build should be easier.

Wow, that looks a lot better than I was expecting to be honest. Great job! Looking forward to seeing it all completed.

Yeah. I was astonished with how much thought my build took as well. I would sit and stare at it for hours trying to make decisions.

The UL1 hatch is very easy to cut using razor knife and strait edge. I measured 14" from front edge of hatch then cut. After rounding off square edges of hatch I will draw outline onto top deck then cut out opening using scroll saw.
