Nice extention idea on the prop shafts. Any reason a new strut tube can't be put in those?

        There are 3 reasons:
Powertrim must be long for propeller being out of the hull, flex and strut are strongly assemnled and I want to use bullet nuts, I like that

Here' s a picture, easier to understand, extensions are very well made and very light

            Hello

i think that this does not work as you plan it.The rotating part is to long. The prop is to far away from the last ball bearing of your drive.I Think you have many vibrations on the shaft, and the ball bearing brokes very soon. The best thing is to make the last step of the boat longer for mounting the drives.(see picture)

            bye

May be but those powertrims from http://www.rc-raceboats.de/shop/lng/.../16-props.html look very strong, they are very well made with high quality materials. I made a mistake with the extensions lenght, my friend will build an other short pair 18mm long. There are 3 ball bearings in the strut. Those custom made parts fit perfectly the Raceboats.de stingers, really. I hope that will work fine
