I guess HK Post is having trouble and it might be 2-3 WEEKS.

Oh well. Guess I'll start soldering.

Anyone have a link to a good BEC eliminator or UBEC with battery or whatever that I can easily velcro in from boat to boat?

I think the most trustable is a batt pack.

I'd suggest a nimh or nicad rx pack as well. OSE should hve 5.5 bullets.

I could break up an old NiMh stick and just plug it in. I'm sure it would last a while... what kind of Mah rating would I need?

Ah, the ze taste of zucc-sess, she is zweet, no?

Did a 15 minute run on 3s with a 445 prop and about 38mph. Didn't get and amp reading, but temps were in the 80-90 range. She runs nice and straight, no torque steer, a nice roost and like Alfa said, on acceleration the boat almost hits a 30 degree starboard list. I did at one point think it might flip.

Good stuff. Can't wait to see what it does on 6s.

Wish I had some video, it was smooth, stable and it turned well.

Did have a water leak from the stuffing tube, but it's probably from adjusting the strut and needs to be re-sealed.

The hull is separated where the top and bottom join at the transom!

                  Eh!

                  Oh!

                  Grumble.

Thought I was done with Epoxy today!

Take a look at the inside of the transom. There is no fiberglass covering the join. So I laid some strips over the join and filled it with epoxy. Should be good to go.

Dayum, 4 tubes of epoxy in 1 day.

Is there any fiberglass overlay on the seam?
There was just a butt joint with some foaming glue and I could see light coming through.
