I had a little mishap with the cowl, so I'm waiting for a new one from aeromarine (should be here in a day or two) but since this pic the hull has been sprayed with pearl and green flake mixed im with the nason urethane clear. Once i get the new cowl and paint it, I'll give the whole boat another coat or two of clear just to make it really glossy and polishable. The next step with the drilling holes and epoxying is what I'm most nervous about...

Thanks. I am pretty happy with it so far. It needs more clear to smooth out the dimples ect... The motor is a Feigao 540XL "Extra Long".

Not a good idea? I have no idea how to match up the motor. This is just what Steve said to go with. Should I be running a different motor?

                        Thanks.

And to answer your question eboat. I was planning on running dual 3s 8000 packs. Or similar. 2-3s 5400 ect.. Maybe dual 7 cell packs on rough water slower days... not totally sure yet. Batteries are the only part i haven't purchased yet.

that sounds like a decent setup

Sorry if you misunderstood my post, I was just making a guess as to what batteries you were going to run. So yeah, your boat will be powered by 6s LiPo. Sounds good!

Oh ok, great. I was hopeing I didn't misunderstand what Steven said to order and got the wrong motor. I hope it runs good. The water around here is usually 2-6" chop so a ton of top speed isn't needed, i just want the thing to jump out of the water when I goose it from a stop or slow speed. Lots of out of the whole take-off anyway. I got 3 graupner (spelling?) 2 blade props to try 40, 42, and 45mm I think. I'm guessing 3 blade will be what I'll end up running. 3 blade would be the best acceleration right?
