No, the epoxy dissolves the 3M77 as it makes contact, the waxed paper falls off while the epoxy is still viscous. I pull the wax paper right after the fabric is wetted, so I can then add or remove the necessary amount of resin from the layup.

Try it with some cheap glass first to see what im talking about. It REALLY helps with handling sub 2 oz fiberglass.

That is just the advertisement picture, when you get the mount you will be setting on a flat bottom so you just turn the center piece up side down from what is shown so that the pointed end is facing up ward and if there is any interfearance just trim the pointed end off and polish no problem.

Here' s the final config step of the HOTR hardware inline aluminum rudder and strut system
I choose to mount only 3/16" props on the HOTR aluminum rudder and strut: "nylstop" inox nuts, PEEK VICTREX washer (graphite + carbon + teflon + bronze) the stock PTFE washer is very very light, prop adapter3/16" to 4mm and Kintec Racing bullet nut much stronger than aluminum stock.

The cat' is reInfoced: glass fiber for the front joint hull, epoxy in the points and between the 2 points ,I used carbon layer for the bottom and sides of the hull , and back table is reinforced with epoxy. I also doubled the part which receives the rudder to ensure
I took off the air intake just forward of the hatch, scale looking on the water will be more realistic!

I like how the carbon fiber contours to the shape of the hull, I guess thats because it is cut on the bias.

                                No, that's 0*-90*.

The twill weave in the fabric is what makes it look that way. Look closely at the bumps and you can see the individual fibers.

Twill weave fabric drapes easier. That's a 2- harness weave, and you can go all the way up to 8-harness which contours like water.
