        That is more than enough... Have you checked if all FETs touch the plate? It is a common problem with those... If not, sand them a bit with fine grit and you should be ok. Do not rely only on the thermal paste, it works better in very thin films, make it thicker and it's bad. The last thing you want is to have FETs at different temperatures, quite erratic...

          looks like he is using thermal tape, works really well and also helps hold the plate in place and doesnt slide around like the paste. some people say the paste is better but i have seen data proving other wise, also if the boat gets dunked a few times the paste can wash out and it can also dry out

            Yes, I use 3M thermal tape, all FETs make contact with the tape

            Is Rubson silicon glue good to waterproof the ESC?

              I made the HiModel GX 200A ESC water cooled and wtaterproof with ETTI plate

              Heat shrink tube and it will be okay Let me know what you think

                Dang ugly, but if it is waterproof then that is important. I am about to the same to Mystery 200 with the Etti plate. I am looking at using clear silicone sealant, it is cheap and I have loads of it.
                See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

                  i have some of this still not sure if i should try it.mite still conformal coat it first
                  i rarely get more than a drop or 2 in my boats but accidents happen
