finally working on a boat! the balsa lonewolf cat

It had a tough trip in the move from AZ here to Washington last year, Ive finally gotten caught upon work here at the resort so I've been building on the boat. I purchased big high amp electronics and large props to drive this thing, but after thought I figured to go a little gentler and slower since I have not driven a boat in over 13 years!

It is a 33" hull'', 10.25" in width, and a tunnel 4.25" wide.

During the trip it received a broken sponson tip and while it needed a tad of repair Im blueprinting the running surfaces.

I added a water pick up rudder to his gorgeous handmade drive hardware. Im running 3/16" octura drive gear with an X440 prop to start off with.

I have used the OSE water jacket on an ammo 2300 motor, Two 6 cell subC 4500mah packs for power and aquacraft SV esc.

I've just made another order from Steven for a few items I still need to get her in the water, hopefully on Friday. I will take a few pictures and some video if I can.

Nice looking boat. I bet it'll fly. Is that lonewolf's old hull?

You guys are right it is his old hull, I traded a bunch of rock crawling equipment for it and some other hardware back a year and a half ago.
