I'm thinking of 2 x Feigao 10XL's, 2 x 4S 5000mah 45C lipos, 2 x T-120 esc's, L-R X442 props. But, plans may change to single motor! This is going to be my first Cat build so I don't know what will happen?

    here's my 2 pussycats!

With that setup on 4S per motor you will be in the low-40s - not enough Kv. What speed range are you looking for? Remember that mine was for SAW racing only, two passes then back to the beach. If you are looking for mid-50s then try a pair of 8XLs and x447s. That would be much more reasonable for a sport boat. For a single a Castle or Neu 1515/1Y on 4S with an m645 will get you there too but at a higher amp draw.

We don't have SAW racing here. So, I guess higher 40's or mid 50's then I'm a happy camper! If ever I hit 60's then that's a bonus but I doubt! I only have the X442 props. What do you think is a better motor choice for it? In The Philippines, motors are more easy to get than props. I have a NIB 6S 5000mah 45C lipo, I can get another one to pair it. Cats are kinda confusing!

Feigao 540 10Xl's and Octura X442 L-R props. I believe Scott (Tiqueman) used these on his HOTR hull that he sold recently.

Yes but you wont fit 6S packs in the boat. 2-3S, seriesed then paralleled back out to the esc. 70mph on that set up in the same kinda hull as a Skunk.
              -Scott

EDIT oh and to back fluid, if I remember correctly it gpsd at about 45-46 on 4S w/ the 540 10XLs on 442 cupped and detongued props. It coulda spun 447s but I never tried it before I pulled the motors and replaced them w/ probaot motors for our clubs stock twin class.

Well, thanks guys for all your inputs on this. I'll try first with the 540 10XL's, x442 props, @ 4S then upgrade later on with bigger motors, and everything that you guys suggested. I appreciate all your help.
