Sorry for being away. Travel hockey started up for my son and I am asst. coach for the team. Lot of fun!

OK The production build is ongoing. They are 10 days away from completion of the first build lot. Sorry for the delay, but attention to the build is better than throwing them together and out the door to my shop.

To answer a couple additional quesitons:

I hit the sponsons with my laser line and the tip follows the line on the deck straight. Might be the curves at the bow causing an optical illusion of sorts.

The transom standoff specs: Mounting pad is 1 1/8" high by 1 1/4" wide. The length of the standoff from the transom is 1 1/4"

I would like to see a picture of the transom. Dead on, so I can see if the sponsons are flat or have an angle like the real hulls do.

My Guess from what i have seen is that they are flat.

HOTR hulls actually have a toe in as opposed to flat or like the real thing with the chine angle continuing from the the above.

I have two sv27 stingers saved for this beauti....do you think the sv27 rudder would work on this?

what scorpion outrunners would someone suggest for pwer?

I was figuring on a twin setup as well but haven't put much thought into what I will use yet. Those motor mounts look to be good for a twin application.

Yes I bought a pair too, nice.

For twins we may need to remove some of the hatch lip for motor access.

If you use the SV27 stingers don't forget to get the mounting bracket milled flat. They were manufactured at a slant to counteract propwalk.

Check it with a caliper. If it is stock and unmodified you will see what I mean.
