    After 20 years of smoking I finally did quit. It has only been 4 months now but I'm sure I've kicked the habit for good. Man I feel better!

      never smoked, never will...

      my adhd kinda gives me an addictive personality....so, besides wanting to avoid the ill effects of smoking, im afraid ill get hooked on it really easily....

          Thank you for that.

          I have to admit that the decision was made because of health and financial concerns (I've been on partial layoff since Feb). I guess I've found the silver lining in being laid off

              there are bans in cities across CA that do not allow smoking in areas where there is food and/or drinking (restaurants, etc) even if it is sitting outside. Indoors it is not allowed in any public place throughout CA... and they are trying to ban smoking on the beaches too.

                I agree, i was in a shopping center one day parked, waiting for someone to come out, and this dude pulled up next to me, lit a cancer stick and smiled at me like everything was going we'll...If I only had a ....hmmmm... no respect at all these people.

                  Tried it as a kid, and hated it instantly! Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones.

                  One addiction is enough anyway, and mine is coffee....

                    i smoke, but i will admit it is a bad habit.
                    in a survey done in the u.s awhile back scientist's found that a coach potato who eats a diet of fried food, drinks to much alcohol and soft drink and smokes is likely to live 20 years longer than a professional athlete. believe it or not
