My opinion, its a bad idea. It cheapens the product. Good for the quick sales, but bad for the long haul.

Steve! does corporations think of anything else? NO, money in their pockets is all that matters... GM insider" as long as it has 4 wheels and shines, these Americans will buy it. Give them a 2 year warranty on it also"

Man...that was proven with the Pontiac Aztek.
I'm a Pontiac fan myself, but that is just pure ooogly!

GM made some of the most visually challenged vehicles, most people that I knew who loved GM, was because they were racers or heavy haulers. To look at a GM your eyes bled and to sit in one, you felt cheated, with it's bland interior... Those damn malnourished steering wheels...grrrr!

A few years ago I was looking for a car and my wife mentioned the Aztek. I told her I would walk before I was seen in one.

You're right - it looks like a cheap Chevy.

I guess all companies have a misfire here and there, remember that square Mustang that came out?
I think it was the 1972 Coupe and the 1977 Mustang Cobra fastback was not much better...

The Capri looking Mustang was the silliest thing FORD ever did, oops maybe the Pinto ( we use to drag race these bad boys along with the Chevy Vega) But they couldn't catch our Bored out VW Beetle.
