Surely just another "scare tactic" by the right! I mean, seriously, why would anyone be worried about the WHITE HOUSE asking for citizens to report people who are executing their 1st ammendment right to free speach, if it happens to go against the plans of the Left??

Seroiusly, Darin?! First of all, the statement says WHILE LOGGED ON, and all they are monitoring is the traffic to THEIR site, once you log off, they aren't monitoring anything anymore.
And when you are logged on, they only monitor what you're doing on their website, and log your IP, Browser type, OS type, and anything else that EVERY OTHER WEBSITE has the simple ability to do. Beck is an IDIOT! Feux news is even worse. WOW !

You're absolutely right. There are programs out there that can track the above information and more. Your browser gives up alot more information than people realize.

Nor am I. I asked people about this. The answer was, "If you're not doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about." I thought and still do think that it is a violation of the 4th amendment of the constitution.

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

The "agreement" you accept when you log onto that website does NOT guarantee any of these rights... It gives the government the right to do whatever they want with the information... IF this were Google or Yahoo or any of the phone companies (as it WAS for the Patriot act arguements), someone who was truely thinking balanced would be as equally concerned...

Sure, it likely won't affect you, but the agreement is still there...
