For someone that was borderline dead (according to the cop), he was very coherent and coordinated...

I have veered for many on Lake Ozarks...crazy! Glad my bassboat can rip around them ....I especially watch running 70 mph and those idots coming out of coves hammer down....usually the V-hulls stand up so much when loaded they can't even see what is in front of them except 100 feet out.

Had my share of nuts....but I have also been one so now we all watch it closer. Now I drive the pontoon most of the time but you can't get out of their way. We have had several just cutting boats in half.

I'm with you...pretty good if that drunk. He touched his nose 4 times...that should have proven enough the first time unless is was slurring his words, etc and that drunk you would be or passed out!

I would ask is to see the calibration journal on the Breath machine. Same as speeding tickets....most of the time they can't find it or it is outdated on the radar guns and can be way off.
Missouri dropped it down to .08 for BUI and not .1.0

I boat often so I certainly have seen my fair share of accidents and even pulling a mother and dead child out and helped carry them up. Then my girlfriend passes out from the heat the same day...well I think she had too many magaritas but it was about 112 that day.

Please explain to me why there is an apparent need by people to consume alcohol...Are we incapable as a spices to enjoy life unless we are pissed out of our minds????

            Ditto for drugs.

What a loser. The ironic part is that if someone got injured by this pinhead, being drunk would probably be used as some stupid defence during a trial for a reduced sentence.

Anyone this stupid should be removed from the planet.

The real point is that nobody was wearing life vests and a suspected drunk driver? He was not a good steward of his boat

I would rather he be sober and no-one was wearing a lifevest than being drunk behind the wheel of a $500,000 killing machine.

Did you really think that if they were all wearing lifevests would make him a good steward??

Come on Duoggie, being drunk behind the wheel is a bit more serious than no life jackets.

You don't need to wear life preservers in a boat of that size. It isn't the law. Also, drinking is fun. That's why people drink. Driving while drunk.... that's just plain dumb.

The passengers were the idiots, but what do you expect from parasites, they're just getting a free ride. You should blame them, they are enablers.

They could have ended up like this, If the marine officer didn't stop them.

First off...that is far from a $500,000 boat. Try about $150,000. Most guys that run boats of that caliber are pretty damn good and would not even want a scratch on the a boat. You have to master docking and other issues...driving it is easy.

No excuses but some of you act like you should be joining MADD.

AND I truly doubt he was anywhere in the range they stated.

Gee....who had the camera and doing all the work...looks like a (scare tactic) sent so the rest of the world can see.

As I said...I hate anyone behind a wheel if wasted. He should have been crawling at those levels so I really do not believe it.

Without a test you can see that guy is inebriated.

Well...pretty sure he is a funtional alcoholic if he is still doing pretty well.

He was not pulled over for his driving....just infraction of someone on the bow...I think I heard him say transom....A water patrol saying this when he knows very well the difference is funny.... If not he needs to be off he water.

So hearing this I am looking on the swim platform for some dumb-a## that has been riding there at 70 mph
