I read the story and totally agree with him. No man should be treated this way. Cops are supposed to be here to enforce laws. None were broken. He was arrested on his own property for no reason whatsoever. I hate cops more now.

LOl, don't hate cops, dislike the individuals who arrogantly rise above the law, that they are suppose to be enforcing. My dad was a Sgt, got sick before they were gonna promote him to Deputy Chief (politics: he never told me if he would have accepted it) anyway... he was a good officer, when he was on duty, officers had to walk to beat, inter-acting with citizens, no driving around all day in police cars. You were either on horseback, bicycle or foot. He was loved and respected for the job he did.

Boy talk about a man who is lying. If he calls 911 again, it will be a tardy response. My response would have been thank you officer for responding so promptly to this perceived break in, here is my ID.

I know a lot of cops here in Northern Michigan. Every single one is a hipocrite. Racism/drinking and driving/smoking pot/illegal weapon firing while intoxicated the list goes on and on. Cops are for the most part arrogant di**s. I've had several cops lie to a magistrate over simple traffic violations. They think they're above the law. I'm sure not all cops are like this, but the ones I know are. One of them is even an under cover agent who busts people for dealing dope and then goes out "booze cruising" with his buddies the same night. Excessive force is probably ny biggest issue with pigs. Have you watched cops latey? Rubber bullets and tasers in almost every case. Unnecessary and ridiculous. Especially if someone is un-armed and there are over 5 cops there.

Also, Douggie, he was arrested after the cop saw his I.D. He probably embarassed that pig and then he felt it necessary to arrest him to boost his pig ego.

I personally believe we need this type of officer roaming the streets.

Yea, no need for the name calling, not all policemen are bad, law enforcement now is like the military, they a draining the dregs to get people. Just imagine putting your life on the line for 35 - 50 thousand a years, while some guys/gal hits or shoots or throws a ball for 500,000 to 25 million a year.

I personally like these guys and their points http://www.leap.cc/cms/index.php

This is only one side of the story. I bet the officer has a different side. I bet both have some truth. There are many more good police officers than there are bad. It is the bad ones that promote a negative image for the rest. But I do feel that you shouldn't fear them, unless you're doing something illegal. But many law-abiding blacks and hispanics fear them because things do escalate for reasons less than "probable cause" or logic. I know this personally.

Dom, I think this respected arresting officer's report is correct. This "dude "came back from a long Asian trip and was probably tired and irritated and went out of control.
