Look what I found In my yard!!

Trust me, this is very normal here in Alabama, usually happens 2-3 times a month in the Summer, really depends on what you find whether you decide to hold it haha..

I was doing some trim work to the Hedges along side of the fence when I notice a very beautiful (Rat/Chicken)Snake, or common Resticter snake, Laying around in the Sun, hanging to a branch on a bush.

So as usual I try to catch him before he notices me first...

He struck at me two times before I actually got ahold of him, most King snakes or these will defend for a second or two then usually give up lol, once you actually grab a king or rat snake they wont attempt to bite ya...

I let him go after pics', I named him Jonase.

Should have let it go in a field... Then people would have less problems with rats and mice..

Strange, I had a dream lastnight that I was bitten by a snake, mine to be exact. He was pissed that I forgot to feed him.

FYI: he has never shown aggression or irritation to anyone.

It was a black rat snake. I caught it and put it over the fence a few times but it kept coming back. My wife said kill it or else! (which translates to mean that my life would be quite miserable if I didn't).
