I have an Academy F1 on the shelf here too that may just get wet again after reading all this talk about old tunnels.

Fwiw I also like a drop of the VB if I am forced to drink labeled beer.
When I was in Qld a year or so back I took to the xxxx gold like a duck to water. Brisbane folk take a dim view when you ask for a pint of VB

For a light beer I like the Fosters light, white can. Call me odd but that is how I am.

My beer is the best. Coopers home-brew made a bit lighter than the packet says so it is all good for swilling in large quantities. Trust me on that one

                        here's my latest time consumer.
                        Sold as a bait boat...
load container(supplied) on back with bait.
Use rc to drive to spot ( 300M range) 3rd ch worm drive to extend then dump bait.
fwd turning, box for bait on top. 3rd ch wormdrive.. lights for night fisshinh (hic) !..
next model up comes with active sonar that transmits back to rc so you can check for fishies beneath the boat !
6V10Ahr .. heavy.. makes it auto right side up by cog alone ..
Hull is fully enclosed for depth of 3M !

                        Bloody Wicked !

Saw an instant modification for new life as rescue tug.
                        Twin jet impellors needed reverse..
quick install 2x car esc with fwd/rev
                        removed bait bucket.
cut aluminum to make crane to swing off rear.
Modified worm drive to raise/lower crane

Now waiting visit to alu welder to assemble crane gantry.

Medium walking pace.. dragged dead gas mono ( inverted) back to shore with ease ( floating drink bottle on string as lure )

                        more ?
                        comes with 413Mhz Tx/Rx.
for extra $55US can make for remote iPhone rc ..
for extra $122US can make for remote iPhone rc with video feed of front/rear !
                        Boat 600mm , gantry 550mm approx 1.25Kg + battery

                        want one ?

I might try and sell some here on OSE when finished .. if interest shown.

Without the iPhone nor sonar options would cost around $260US + freight.

Std model .. all you need to go is 6V10Ahr battery, and 4AA

my dubious ANZ buddies who live on this thread can pm for a price.

                        .

I live 1 mile from the Coopers Brewery in South Australia.

                          Nothing else matters.

I moved to this location for it's proximity to the active brewery. ( and bigger shed )

And lets face the facts, a house in Leabrook would mean a lot less cash for the important things in life, like RC boats, beer and hookers. In that order too
