Everyone knows I am full of crap Andy but St Kilda is not.

Just to annoy you I packed BOAT in the car and went flying this morning. This was the first flight on Solar Power. Mate as soon as it was in the air the Polar ice caps stopped melting, rivers stopped drying up and dust storms started in NSW. Ahh it makes a man all warm and fuzzy when he uses electricity made by the sweat of his own brow (I did have to climb the ladder to put the solar panels on the roof). Speaking of being on the roof I noticed the young woman next door is a practicing nudist. I am keeping and eye on that situation and I am expecting some further developments.

I took the DF 33 clone to the pond to check for any water leaks. I was expecting lots as I have sealed nothing with silastic. To my surprise there was no leaks except a small one at the stuffing tube. I have not put the fuel tube on that yet so it is not a problem. Having taken an old 5s lipo and a X438 with me, I thought I would give it a run. Wow what a great handling boat. Top speed was only 64.3 kph but it is a 6s motor running on 5s and that prop was way too small. The hull was running very wet (I wanted it that way) so all in all I am a happy old man. I will have to order a battery for it as the 5s PQ is starting to puff.
